Learning problems aren't always where they first appear.

A mistake in one subject can trace back to a gap in another — you have to look underneath it to know for sure.

Through my research, I have focused on the foundational mathematics and science concepts that support success in standardized exams, science and engineering courses, and the quantitative skills increasingly important in an AI-driven world.

Advanced mathematics and science rest on a small set of foundational concepts. When a student struggles with an advanced topic, the cause is often a gap in one of those foundations — not a lack of effort on the advanced topic itself. TeeCarbon's design starts from that relationship.
